Astoria Consulting organizes educational conferences on PE investment in Tokyo and New York since 2001. The primary mission of the Astoria PE Investment Forum, to promote and raise awareness of best practices in private equity investment in Japan, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the flow of risk capital from institutional investors to innovative businesses through the use of private equity funds. Also, Astoria liaises with the Center on Japanese Economy and Business at Columbia Business School as Tokyo coordinator of Program on Alternative Investments in Japan　since 2003.
