		Mr. Yip is the Chief Executive Officer of Asset Managers (Asia) Company Limited (“Asset Managers Asia”), an affiliated company of Asset Managers Co., Ltd. of Japan (“Asset Managers). He founded Asset Managers Asia in 2004 and is responsible for the overall policy, corporate planning, deal origination, business development and strategic direction of the Company. Asset Managers Asia is one of the most active Japanese-backed private equity players in Asia. Since its inception in late 2004, Asset Managers Asia has invested over US$133 million in more than 20 private equity investments in the Greater China region. Mr. Yip originated a majority of these opportunities, including Asset Managers’s investment in CITIC International Assets Management (“CIAM”). CIAM is the major offshore investment arm for the CITIC Group (one of the leading financial conglomerates in China). Mr. Yip possesses over 19 years of merchant banking experience in Greater China gained from a long and successful career with a number of leading financial institutions. Prior to founding Asset Managers Asia, Mr. Yip served as Managing Director of VC-CEF Capital Limited (now known as VC Capital Limited) and Deputy General Manager of The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan - Hong Kong Branch (now known as Shinsei Bank). Mr. Yip holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
