Mr. Keck is Vice Chairman of Needham & Company, LLC and has over 30 years of experience. Since starting Needham & Company's U.S. West Coast operations in 1991, Mr. Keck has been involved in over 100 transactions, including public equity offerings and M&A advisory. Prior to joining Needham & Company, Mr. Keck was a Managing Director and Head of Prudential Bache's San Francisco Investment Banking Group. Other investment banking experience includes First Boston's Technology Group and founding and co-heading Smith Barney's Technology Financing Group. Mr. Keck spent his early years at Electronic Data Systems and as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He graduated from the U.S. Military Academy and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Pagemill, he founded Alliant Partners in 1992 and served as the company¡¯s CEO until 2004. While there, he led the company through its sale to Silicon Valley Bank in September 2001. In 1990, Kochman co-founded M&A firm Von Gehr International with George Von Gehr focusing on private transactions. Leveraging his strong background of executive-level expertise in technology, operations and finance, Kochman led the merger of the company with Bentley Hall and Company to form Alliant Partners. Prior to Alliant, Kochman held management positions at FMC Corporation and International Harvester. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago. |
