		York, based in Shanghai since early 2000, is a General Partner of iD TechVentures Ltd. (iDT, previously known as Acer Technology Ventures). iDT manages four funds of 300M in Greater China. In Mainland China, the funds have invested into 28 early and expansion stage tech deals in areas of digital lifestyle value-added services and components. York is the director to some 10 companies, including founding directors of Linktone (Nasdaq: LTON). York, as one of the most active venture capitalists in China, was termed by media as a “VC Evangelist” unselfishly sharing his deep observation and advice to the peer groups. Before 2000, York was a board member of Singapore listed Acer Computer International Ltd. He initiated, managed and oversaw more than 10 diversified national and JV operation spanning from Moscow to Auckland, from Seoul to Bangalore. Before ’91, York was involved in Acer’s successful presence in Mexico and ex-Soviet Union markets. He is the first Chinese to deliver a public speech in the Kremlin in May 1991 to some 2000 Russian political & industrial leaders. York started his career in the public sector. He holds a B.S. from National Taiwan University, a MBA from Fordham University and studied EMBA in Peking University.
