		Innes Meek joined CDC in 1992 and has been a Director since 1999. He is responsible for CDC portfolio investments in funds in Asia and Latin America. He has led CDC’s commitments to five fund managers in China over the course of the last four years. CDC now has commitments of over US$300m in China, mainly in the growth capital segment. Mr Meek has extensive experience of the emerging markets and has worked in Africa and Latin America as well as Asia. Prior to joining CDC, Mr Meek was a Director of UK Project Finance Limited, which specialised in project finance and structured lending. In the mid 80’s he worked for Morgan Grenfell and Co Ltd in the field of export and project finance. Mr Meek is a graduate of Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
