		Michelle Ashworth is a Senior Investment Manager at VenCap International plc where she has been investing in US venture capital and European venture capital and mid-market buy-out funds for the past eight years. Michelle works alongside VenCap’s Director, Fund Investments, Tim Cruttenden and Investment Managers, Benedict Kelly and David Clark, as part of a eight-member investment team that collectively has over 90 years of private equity experience. VenCap’s investment team has invested over US$1 billion in more than 200 venture and buy-out funds in the US and in Europe over the past 15 years. Prior to joining VenCap, Michelle was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Birmingham where she taught Mathematics to undergraduate students in the Science and Engineering Faculties. She received her Batchelors of Arts degree (with honours) in Mathematics and Masters of Philosophy in Science degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Birmingham and is an Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals.
