Wang Gongquan joined CDH Investments to found CDH Venture in 2005. Prior to that, he was a general partner with IDG Technology Venture Investment, Inc. (IDGVC) from 1999 to 2005, and he made some successful investments or played significant roles in many portfolios, such as AsiaInfo, Eachnet, 3721, JRJ, Framedia, ChinaEdu, and Civilink. In 1991, Wang was one of the founders of Vantone Industry Group, and he served in various capacities, including President, Chairman of the Board, and Managing Director. Wang received his B.S. from Jilin University in 1984.
