In 1984, graduated from the Department of Law, Hitotsubashi University, Japan and joined in Daiwa Securities Co., Ltd.
In 1990, obtained MBA degree from Washington University in St Louis.
In 1999, established Daiwa Securities Group, the first sole shareholder company in Japan, and engaged in IR business.
In 2000, as IR General Manager of Daiwa Securities Group Corporation and later completely took charge of the information disclosure business. Worked as Director of Management Planning in 2004.
In 2007, Director of Daiwa Securities SMBC Principal Investments Corporation.
From April 2008 to now, has been working in current position and as External Director in Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd (Japan) and SOMA Networks, Inc. (US).
