Hope Chen is a Partner with Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Head of DFJ China leading investments in TMT, Energy and Consumer retail sectors in China. She currently serves on the boards of PPLive, Ku6.com, Mtime, CDA, QuickCare and as Board Advisor for Yeepay, CTS and Pixoart (acquired by 51.com).

Ms. Chen has close to 15 years of operational experience in internet and IT industry. She was most recently Founder and co-CEO of Billpoint, Inc., which pioneered the concept of online person to person payments. Billpoint became the leading provider of person to person payment services on the Internet and was acquired by eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) in 1999 as a payment solution for their online auction marketplace. Prior to Billpoint, Ms. Chen was Chief Information Officer of GE Nuclear, a $1 Billion division of GE Power Systems, where she managed the IT infrastructure for the organization and implemented large scale enterprise systems. Before GE, she was a strategy consultant for The Boston Consulting Group in the San Francisco office and a Director for Cambridge Technology Partners in Boston.
Ms. Chen received her BA in both Computer Science and Philosophy from Wellesley College. She received her MBA from the Harvard Business School.
