Mr. Zheng worked in the Listing Department of Shenzhen Stock Exchange in early 1991. He worked as a lawyer in Shenzhen Law Office between July 1991 and March 1994. From April 1994 to the end of 2007, he worked as a partner and a lawyer in Shu Jin Law Firm.
As one of the First Batch of Chinese securities lawyers, Mr. Zheng has managed the legal aspect of a number of stock listing and seasoned equity offering projects for more than 40 companies. He has been the legal adviser for several listed companies, such as Shenzhen Development Bank(000001), China Vanke Co., Ltd.(000002), Shenzhen Technology Co., Ltd.(000021), and CSG Holding Co., Ltd.(000012). Mr. Zheng is also an instructor of Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and he has lectured many Law and Venture Capital courses.
Mr. Zheng founded Shenzhen Cowin Venture Capital Co., Ltd in 2000. At the same time, he successfully invested in some listed companies of the SME board, such as DaAn Gene Co., Ltd. (002030), Luoyang Bearing Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (002046), ShenZhen Topray Solar Co., Ltd. (002218), and Xiamen ANNE Co., Ltd.(002235). As the Managing Partner, Mr. Zheng founded Shenzhen Nanhai Capital (LP) which is the first LP company in China in June 2007.
Mr. Zheng is also a Partner of Shanghai Greenwood Capital Management Co., Ltd. The ˇ°Golden China Fundˇ± is an oversea hedge fund that mainly invests in Chinese concept stocks which are in oversea listing. This fund was awarded ˇ°The Best Single Country Fundˇ± by Asia Hedge in 2007.
Mr. Zheng graduated with Master degree in Law from Nankai University. He also earned an EMBA from Guanghua School of Management.
