Joe Tian, DT Capital Partners, Founding Managing Partner


		Joe Tian is a founding Managing Partner of DT Capital Partners, a US$500 million fund focusing on China private equity and venture capital related investment. Prior to founding DT Capital, Mr. Tian served as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at DragonTech Ventures and participated in investments such as SunTech Power (NYSE: STP), MeMeStar (acquired by NASDAQ:SINA), Harbour Networks. Joe was elected as “Top 10 Investment Manager” by Zero2IPO in 2003, “Top 50 Most Influential People in Mobile Game Industry” by DownJoy in 2006, “Top 10 Most Influential PE Investor” at the 10th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo in 2007, "China's Top Ten Media Investors" at China Media Investment Annual Conference in 2008. Previously, Mr. Tian was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan, mainly responsible for corporate finance and M&A in the greater China region. He also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and practiced 5 years of engineering consulting in the US. Joe received an MBA degree from the Wharton School and Master and Bachelor degrees in engineering from Bradley University and Chongqing University respectively.
