Hao Chen, Legend Capital, Managing Director, Head of Investment


		Mr. Chen joined Mr. Zhu in founding Legend Capital in 2001 and has served as Head of Investment ever since. He is responsible for overall investment activities at Legend Capital. Mr. Chen is an Investment Committee member. Mr. Chen joined Legend Group in 1992. He served as General Manager of Legend Advanced System Ltd. (LAS) East China and then Vice President of LAS. During his tenure, he was responsible for strategic management and business implementation and presided over several major projects for clients in government, financial institutions, taxation authorities and telecommunication companies. Mr. Chen has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry, especially in business management and operations, and IT applications/services. He has established wide industry contacts. Mr. Chen served and sits on the Boards of numerous portfolio companies, including Berkäna (acquired by Qualcomm), Photonic Bridges (acquired by Siemens), AutoNavi, Crystal Media, Udooo.com, Eyang (0117.HK), Kaitone, Rock Mobile, Spreadtrum (Nasdaq:SPRD) and Worksoft (NYSE: VIT). Mr. Chen graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
