Chris Yang is a General Partner at Grove Street Advisors focusing on information technology, secondary partnership investments, Asian and domestic buyout funds. Prior to joining Grove Street, Chris was a consultant with Integral and Alliance Consulting Group. He has also held various operating positions with Internet companies such as HomeGrocer, SchoolStop, and RottenTomatoes. Chris was an Associate with Seed Capital, SOFTBANK's early stage VC affiliate. He has also worked at Bain & Company on its eVolution joint venture with Texas Pacific Group and Kleiner Perkins, as well as the Boston-based law firm of Bingham McCutchen. Chris has an undergraduate degree in Economics from MIT with a minor in Psychology, a JD from Harvard Law School, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Chris is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
