Mr. Li's practice focuses primarily on China-related cross-border M&A, private equity, venture capital financing and fund formation, as well as on the overseas listing of PRC enterprises, covering a wide variety of industries such as IT, telecommunications, media, infrastructures, energy and clean technology, water, banking and finance. He has advised multinational companies extensively on cross-border transactions in the forms of Chinese foreign joint ventures, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, partnership, technology transfer, and technical assistance. He is also very experienced in the areas of real estate and hopitality, restructuring and insolvency, IP protections, and employment. He frequently speaks on PRC M&A and company law at seminars and conferences in the region.
Ying has a JD degree from Harvard Law School and a LLM and a LLB degree from Peking University Law School.
Mr. Li is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English and Cantonese.
