		Mr. Wang has over 8 years experience in venture capital , especially in fund of funds investment and management. In 1999, he joined in funding the Shanghai Venture Capital Co. Ltd(SHVC), which about $500 M is currently under management. In SHVC, Mr. Wang has actively involved in the investments in 18 VC funds, diversified in the seed to pre-IPO stage with the total funds size in $300M, and the other investors includes famous universities in China, high-tech parks in Shanghai, and overseas venture capital funds. Mr. Wang also led a number of direct investments on behalf of SHVC, include Focus Media as A round investor(FMCN, listed in Nasdaq), and Chenzhou Minning.(002155, listed in Shenzhen A share market) Prior to join SHVC, Mr. Wang worked for Science & Technique Committee of Shanghai Municipal from 1990 to 1999, ever in charge of the international cooperation division and the comprehensive planning division. And he served as researcher at Institute of Medical Scientific & Technical Information of Shanghai for 10 years after graduation. Mr. Wang holds an EMBA degree from China-Europe International Business School, got his B.A. degree from Fudan University in 1977 and then accomplished collegial courses of medicine in Shanghai Medical University. Mr. Wang is now the president of Shanghai Venture Capital Co., Ltd. and vice-chairman of Shanghai Venture Capital Association.
