Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCPEA) was established on November 12, 1987, with the objectives of promoting and protecting the interests of the venture capital industry in Hong Kong and the PRC. HKVCPEA represents more than 140 corporate members involved in the venture capital/private equity industry at all levels-from seed, startup, mezzanine, buyouts and restructuring-investing in the Asia-Pacific region, managing more than US$190 billion in funds and investments.

The Association strives to strengthen the communication and networking among its members and other business groups, and provide an effective platform to better equip industry practitioners by actively organizing luncheons, seminars and conferences, delegations, joint activities with the government and other business parties.
